Immune System Boosting for Covid-19 protection

If I and my colleagues in Santa Cruz County, California become active enough with our local governance and health agencies, our county could begin leading the country in underwhelming percentages of Covid-19 cases, and even fewer deaths resulting.

As of March 27, 2020, the world has still heard too little about the most obvious addtional steps EVERYONE can take to further protect ourselves from infection (beyond social distancing, handwashing, face masks).

Santa Cruz is joined by hundreds if not thousands of counties with bustling Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) practitioners. Most of our neighbors, near and far, have their favorite tried and true, go-to experts for Health Expansion already. NOW is the time to share more of our favorite and simplest methods of boosting our immune systems (Herbalist & Acupuncture experts, Supplements galore, Naturopathic, Homeopathic, colonics, energy medicine, and so much more are among the ready choices).

Whether taking the least expensive forms of Ascorbic Acid C with food, or Buffered C, or Sodium Ascorbate, or others, Immune Boosting is simple and Tremendously Healing/Helping our bodies in dozens of ways

And then we have countless Self-Healing Lifestyle areas to focus on, and further body-helping practices:

  • use beeswax or other chemical-free lip treatments inside nostrils to boost our nose hair abilities to better catch/filter out viral and bacteria bits we might otherwise breathe in
  • make edible landscape or container gardens of easy-grow greens and veggies our preferred Exercise and time in Nature – and remember to strike some yoga-like poses while planting, harvesting, and tending to our produce, soil, compost, and more.
  • focus on the dozens of added ways to Optimize your Hydration with my coaching help or by forming a small group to take a class together
  • cleanse in any number of ways:
    • intermittent fasting is an easy addition to hydrating better
    • investigate 7-21-day cleansing options (e.g., veggie juicing, gut repair programs, mono-eating, sugar reduction or replacement, elimination diets or more)
    • epsom salt++ baths, sauna
    • detox herb food additions, teas, and supplements
    • colon cleansing including enemas
  • experiment with learning to make healthy versions of junk foods
    • air-bake salted potato or sweet potato slices as french fries
    • use maple (or other) syrup, honey, dates, dried or frozen fruit and alcohol sugars (malitol, xylitol, and more) rather than standard processed sugar
    • fresh juice or essential oils mixed with soda water, or learn to kombucha &/or kefir brewing instead of sodas
    • pick any of my recipes for frozen fruit blended with any of my creamery suggestions instead of ice cream
    • creamy no-bake fresh fruit-topped pies

  • switch back to stove top and small or large ovens instead of microwave cooking your food and drinks (all in all, there is not that much time differential)
  • reduce or eliminate taxing your body by eating at fast-eat franchises (that rarely nutrify)
    • watch documentaries like “Supersize Me” to build up resolve and interest (see the whole list of great health and healing documentaries I recommend under the menu item ‘More’)

KEEP IN MIND that the aphorism “What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger” is especially true about illness since we are AT LEAST likelier to succomb to a lighter version of Covid-19 from using any of the above Immune Boosting methods.
